Born in 1978 in Guadeloupe, Carribean, Laurent Segretier is a Hong Kong and Paris based French fine art photographer whose attachment to photography led him to an prolific career in contemporary photography. Travelling between Paris and Asia, Segretier's first major series of works where he explored cyberspatiality through digital distortion gained him widespread recognition from artists and fashion photographers alike, leading to artistic collaboration with Nike, Hermes, Gucci, Burberry, and many more. Alongside brand collaborations, Segretier has also established an institutional presence within the fine art realm, having exhibited at major institutions such as Huddersfield University in United Kingdom, and Digital Art Museum in Mexico. Some notable exhibitions include solo presentation RandomAccess (2013) at Galerie Clemens Gunzer in Switzerland, and group show Pump Fake (2018) at Stems Gallery, Belgium; where Segretier exhibited alongside contemporaries such as Awol Erizku and Fumi Ishino. He was also featured in major publications by renowned photography professor and president of Société Française de Photographie, Michel Poivert. During his time in Asia, Segretier exhibited with galleries such Sundram Tagore Hong Kong, Ying Space Beijing, and presented Paid Leave, a solo
